Some facts about me:

Family and Fertility

• I am one of triplets, we were conceived via IVF in 1991

• We were also conceived with a sperm donor

• I have donated my own eggs

• I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2018 and underwent a laparoscopy

• I struggled with infertility for several years

Career and Background

• I was a TV documentary filmmaker for 10+ years

• I produced and directed films for the BBC and Channel 4 (Here is my imdb page)

• I was shortlisted for the British Journalism Awards in 2022

• I was a ghostwriter for many years before publishing my own book

• In 2024 I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester

• My previous undergraduate degree was in English & Drama at Queen Mary, University of London

• I grew up in rural Nottinghamshire and now live in Leeds

• I work part-time in an independent bookshop in Wetherby, Yorkshire
